is available as Continuous Cast Bar Stock per ASTM B505, Centrifugal Castings per ASTM B271 and Sand Castings per ASTM B584.

Manganese bronze is not used in the commercial or consumer market; it is
found almost exclusively in the industrial sector. This is because of
the durability and toughness of manganese bronze. It is used to make
bushings, valve stems, hydraulic cylinder components and propellers. Its
primary use in industry means this bronze is typically sold in large
amounts, with a standard bar length of 144 inches or 12 feet.
This
material is used in a variety of applications. Typical uses for this
alloy are: Extra heavy duty, high strength alloy. Large valve stems, gears, cams,
slow-speed heavy-load bearings, screwdown nuts hydraulic cylinder parts.
